Lord, Open A Door For Me (Acts #8)
As we continue in our study of the Book of Acts we find the fledgling church encountering growing pains. There were spiritual needs in the church, but there were also practical needs that had to be met as they cared for this large group of people. It took energy. It took resources. And it took the Holy Spirit working through willing people. We are no different today. The secret to a thriving church that sees people come to know God and have Him change their lives is to have the whole church participating. No one is just a spectator. God wants to use each of us, not just a select few.
