The stories of the Bible tell us the good, the bad and the ugly of the lives of people as they walked with God. Sometimes we have the mistaken idea that if we pledge our lives to God everything will then be smooth sailing. Although God does bless us, sometimes we may find ourselves, like the Bible greats, confronted with great challenges. Sometimes these challenges are life and death.
