God Wants To Heal You (Acts #16)
Many times we mistakenly shortchange what Jesus’ redemptive death and resurrection accomplished for us. We tend to believe that salvation only speaks to where we will spend our eternity. However, in his Bible notes, Dr. Schofield says that in the original Hebrew and Greek texts, the words that we have translated for “salvation” imply ideals of deliverance, safety, preservation, healing, and soundness. The Gospel obviously brings all of these to us as believers, and we must not neglect to seek after that that was bought for us at such a high price.
