Residents needing assistance in filing insurance claims for damage incurred during Hurricane Florence can do so Thursday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM at Northwood.
The Insurance Camp is being coordinated by the N.C. Department of Insurance. Insurance Camps are set up with the insurance industry to allow storm victims direct access to their insurance companies and answer their insurance questions.
“We want to help people get connected with their insurance companies and other agencies who can answer questions and address concerns so they can file insurance claims and can get their lives back on track as soon as possible,” Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey said in a news release.
