DANIEL: The Man Who Saved His Nation Through Prayer – Part 2
Daniel was reading the Word from Jeremiah and saw the promise of God to his people. He was more than 87 years old when he saw this and the light came on in his mind. “God, you have prepared something great for us.” Daniel’s prayer is like a 911 call for urgent help. He got out of the small talk and went right to the important talk. He stormed the gates of heaven with what Eugene Peterson calls “reversed of thunder,” praying God’s Word back to Him.
