Audio only for our 3rd message in the series “When A Nation Prays”.

In 1906 at Azusa Street in Los Angeles, the Holy Spirit fell, and people thought that it was a second day of Pentecost as had happened 2000 years before. It was certainly fulfilling Joel’s prophecy. There have been numerous revivals throughout the history of the church. Some were marked by shocking miracles, some, like the revival of the Hebrides, demonstrated repentance by masses of people. Despite the different nuances of what the revivals looked like, they all had these two things in common: they came when praying people devoted themselves to seeking God, and they brought people to a closer relationship with Him. Revivals mark people, change people, and they bring the reality of God’s presence into sharp and undeniable focus. Revival accomplishes what no human endeavor can.
