Upward Sports Basketball and Cheerleading League
As a longstanding partner of Upward Sports, Northwood Temple is proud to offer another great season of Basketball and Cheerleading. We are planning an Upward League to begin play on Jan 2, 2021 with plans to follow the CDC guidelines concerning the Covid-19 virus. Our prayers are that it will be under control by then so we can proceed as normal. The leagues are for kids from K5 through the 9th grades.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
The early registration cost per child for basketball is $85; after November 30, the cost is $95
The early registration cost per child for cheerleading is $85; after November 30, the cost is $95
Deadline for registration is December 12
Basketball shorts are included at no additional cost
Cheerleading mock turtlenecks are included at no additional cost
Uniform Information: All uniform sizing will be done using the sizing chart on the registration form.
EVALUATIONS AND ORIENTATIONS:
Children signed up for basketball must attend one basketball evaluation. They will take place at the Northwood Temple Church Gym as follows:
– Saturday, December 5, between 9 :00 a.m. and noon
5th-9th grade boy/girl.
– Saturday, December 12, between 9 :00 a.m. and 11:59 a.m.
3rd/4th grade boy/girl and all 5th-9th graders that did not come on 12/5.
**NOTE: K5-2nd grades and ALL cheerleaders will NOT need to come to evaluations.**
PROGRAM SCHEDULE:
First Practice – Saturday, January 2, 2021
First Game – Saturday, January 16, 2021
Season Celebration – Sunday, March 7, 2021
