“The Blood,” is a musical drama that tells the story of why God regards blood so highly.
In the biblical account of creation, Adam and Eve sinned by eating the forbidden fruit. Their rebellion not only broke the intimate fellowship they had enjoyed with their maker, but it also threw the earth into chaos. A perfect world became a hard place, and it remains so today. In His mercy, God made clothes of animal skins for these first humans to hide their shame. The blood of those animals provided a sacrifice to cover their sin.
From that point forward, the only way sin could be removed was by blood. When Jesus died on a cross, His blood once and for all provided the ultimate sacrifice for all of man’s sins. Those who call on that blood find forgiveness and peace.
